Haverty joined forces with Dorsey Alston Realtors in 2015. Prior to that, Nan worked for Beacham and Company Realtors, managed her family’s personal real estate portfolio and was a founder of the development of the Serenbe community. She felt their reputation as a leader in the Atlanta real estate market combined with her own experience and background would best allow her to service her clients’ interests and their unique real estate. In 2011 Nan was named the number one individual agent at her previous firm, and was also named the number two agent in the city of Atlanta by the Atlanta Board of Realtors. With a rapidly growing client base, Nan wanted to expand her market reach by also becoming licensed in Florida as so many Atlanta residents have second homes on the Gulf Coast or more commonly known as 30A.
Nan is also a co-founder of the Serenbe community nestled in the woods of the Chattahoochee Hill County, just 45 minutes South of Atlanta. It is the greenest city in America, home to the 2012 HGTV green home, which Nan was proud to represent the buyer from New York. Visit Serenbe and view homes for sale.
Nan has always had a Town and Country approach to real estate. Whether you are buying or selling a starter home, a lot to build a custom house, large estate, Intown condo or townhome, Nan and The Haverty Group have the expertise to service all your particular Atlanta real estate interests and needs. Nan and The Haverty Group are also experts in buying or selling short sales and foreclosures. The market continues to be challenging, but Nan and her team have the tools to get the deal done.
Giving back to Create Your Dreams, a non-profit organization which she founded in 1994 is an important passion for Nan. She firmly believes that every child should receive a quality education. Nan gives back a portion of every commission earned to the youth development program for honor roll students. She stated, “I have been so fortunate in my life, to be surrounded by caring and supportive friends and family. I just want to share that compassion with others.” For more information, visit www.createyourdreams.org.
“It is the person or family in our journey together that I remember the most, not the business transaction, but the relationship.”
