Serenbe sits in the heart of the Chattahooche Hill Country, occupying 900 of the 40,000 acres of largely untouched countryside.
Druid Hills
One of Atlanta’s oldest and architecturally beautiful neighborhoods, Druid Hills is home to the prestigious Emory University and the Druid Hills Country Club. Perfectly planned by Frederick Law Olmstead, who also created Central Park in New York, this part of Atlanta has tree lined streets, lush parks, historic homes, and fine dining and shopping.
Cobb County
Just minutes from Buckhead, cross over the Fulton County line to Cobb County and enjoy all of the benefits of living close to the city, with excellent public and private schools, but much lower property taxes. Cobb continues to grow rapidly and is home to several well known John Wieland subdivisions such as Vinings Estates.

Alpharetta
Many corporations, headquarters, and excellent public and private schools have made this area a major hub for re-location and economic growth. The actual town of Alpharetta dates back to the mid 1800’s. Home to many acclaimed golf courses, sports complexes and arenas, this area attracts many professional athletes and celebrities.
Midtown
Twenty years ago, Midtown Atlanta was solely a commercial and business district. Folks drove in the city to work and then drove home in the evenings. The Residential living aspect was not there due to the boom of suburbia. However, today through revitalization and urban trends, Midtown is the home to luxurious high-rise condominiums, 5 star hotels and restaurants and a happening night life scene.
Roswell
Located in North Fulton County, is charming and quaint Roswell, just north of Atlanta. Originally a mill town started by a man named Roswell King in the 1930’s, today it is a popular commuter community to Atlanta made of sprawling high end subdivisions with variety of homes both old and new. Downtown, historic Roswell has pedestrian friendly streets lined with boutique shopping and fantastic restaurants.
Virginia Highland
Popular and trendy would be an understatement to describe the Virginia Highlands for the past several years. From charming, restored bungalows to contemporary, chic and modern homes, the manicured lined streets have made this a hot spot for real estate. Highland Avenue is one of the best shopping/restaurant areas in the city with new, hip, and revitalized businesses making debuts all of the time.
Just five miles north of Downtown, this “city” neighborhood is ideal for those wanting a close commute to work, great schools, and is full of arts and culture. The Virginia Highland SummerFest in June is literally an Atlanta Tradition and is officially the start of summer in the city.
